Egyptian Spinach, also known as Pat Shaak is known for its leaves that contain a high amount of vitamin A and vitamin C. It contains vitamin C up to 53mg/100 grams and source of provitamin A up to 12 mg/100 grams. It is very low in saturated fat and cholesterol and a source of thiamine, zinc, and dietary fiber.
It tastes delicious sauteed in soups, or dried for tea. It's also used to aid digestion, improve vision, and reduce stress.
